THE PROBLEM:
In connection with the move-in of residents in new buildings, it is a problem that the ceiling elements must initially be drained through the so-called drainage holes. Until now, this has taken place by hanging a bucket from the ceiling or placing it on the floor, which is of course very inconvenient for the residents and gives rise to great dissatisfaction.
A BETTER SOLUTION
The people behind Draindane were surprised that there wasn't a better solution than the bucket. It must be possible to come up with a nicer and more user-friendly product. For the benefit of both residents, building managers and administrators. It had to be something that was easy to screw up into the ceiling, which could catch the water, and which, roughly speaking, had to look like a white ceiling lamp that could blend in with the ceiling.
SIMPLE ASSEMBLY AND FUNCTION
The result is the patent-pending drain water collector Draindane. It looks like a simple ceiling lamp, is aesthetically pleasing and incredibly practical, with the same color as most ceilings. The installation takes place with a single screw that is screwed into the ceiling next to the drain hole. After that, the built-in automation does the rest. The collector will notify you in case it needs to be emptied and the battery needs to be replaced. The collector also reports when the drain hole has dried up.
PROPERTIES
Draindane is produced to be reusable, to protect the environment. It is also made from recycled plastic, so that the production does not contribute negatively to the overconsumption of plastic. And it weighs less than a tenth of what a plastic bucket weighs.
A SUCCESS
Draindane has now been on the market for a year and a half, and this has resulted in happy customers coming back.
LESS INCONVENIENCE FOR ALL PARTIES
With Draindane, construction parties are freed from the inconvenience and heavy, administrative processes associated with draining water out of the ceiling elements. Draindane facilitates the workflows of construction managers and craftsmen and provides happy and satisfied residents.
